- One-word answers are NOT encouraged. Go deeper. Explain why.
- No probing questions during speaking
- Listeners, try to not nod or shake heads or say "I couldn't agree more" or "Me too!", etc
- Each question gets answered only once. There's no "How 'bout you?" This frees everyone up to listen, not formulate their answers.
- 🎁 Bonus idea: everybody blindfolded for one round. No visuals. Only listening. (Or just close eyes).
